Electronic Interims Issued in October

Posted On: Friday, September 19, 2014

The York County School Division will expand the practice of providing electronic interim reports this year. The division has been publishing electronic interim reports for secondary students since 2012. Starting in October, all students in grades 1-12 will receive an electronic interim report. Students in kindergarten will begin receiving electronic interim reports during the second quarter of the school year.

Parents with activated Aspen Family Portal accounts will receive an email alerting them that Interim Progress Reports have been posted to the Aspen Family Portal. Parents will then login to the Aspen Family portal to see the report, which will be available on the home page in the Published Reports section. Printed interim reports will be made available upon request.

Parents are still encouraged to participate in conferences with teachers. “The Aspen Family Portal is a powerful tool to enhance communication between teachers, parents and students, but parents and teachers sitting down together to discuss a student’s education is invaluable,” explained Chief Academic Officer Stephanie Guy.
