York High Egg Drop

York High School's annual egg drop competition took place in Cynthia Hardesty's physics class in January. Students were challenged with the task of creating a vehicle to help their egg survive two drops, first from the bottom and then from the top of the football field's bleachers while meeting mass and materials restrictions in the project. Winning projects were based on three criteria: egg survival, lightest mass & closest distance to the target. Overall winners were Andrew Watt, Brian Mucklow and Zach Warthan.
