Posted On: Friday, September 19, 2014

York High School (YHS) is pleased to announce that three students have been selected as 2015 National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists. The program is based upon student performance on the PSAT taken during a student’s junior year. Please join Dr. Kendra Crump, YHS principal, and the rest of the Falcon family in congratulating Christopher Dollesin, Fenton Reichle and Matthew Shih on this tremendous accomplishment.

More than 1.4 million students, in more than 22,000 high schools around the country, entered the program by taking the 2013 PSAT. Of those, approximately, 16,000 students were named semifinalists and can compete for the 7,600 National Merit Scholarships that together are worth more than $33 million and will be awarded next spring.
