| Congratulations to Katie Webb, senior at Tabb High School (THS), for winning the American Mathematics Society Honorable Mention Award at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles, California. Katie presented her project, titled, “A New Statistical Measure of Effect Size: Rate-Adjusted Standardized Mean Difference (RASMD)”. She competed against 1,700 students from across the globe. Special thanks to her teacher, Karen Mayeaux, for supporting her on the journey to this world competition. |
