TMS Action for Animals

Posted On: Friday, April 18, 2014

Tabb Middle School (TMS) students continue to work on a yearlong, school-wide endeavor that has culminated in student’s involvement with an international charity to protect elephants. In the fall, students researched animal abuse and presented projects focusing on various organizations and causes related to animal abuse. In December, a presentation on elephant poaching was selected as the common cause for the school this year.

The TMS "Action for Animal Awareness" project has so far raised $800 to help support the fight against elephant poaching. TMS will donate the funds to the Space for Giants program, a wildlife conservation organization.
