YHS Wins the Langley African-American Heritage Council Trivia Bowl

York High School’s (YHS) African-American Heritage Club was crowned the champions of the Langley African-American Heritage Council's 9th Annual High School Knowledge/Trivia Bowl. The team of David Brewster, Jewel Cooke, Kemont Lipscomb, Malcolm Reynolds, Joshua Taylor, and Rebecca Taylor dominated Bethel, Woodside, and Bruton high schools to claim the championship. The team was anchored by David Brewster, who also won the individual title. This was YHS’s second championship in the last three years.
