York High Awards International Baccalaureate Diplomas to the Class of 2009

The York High School International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme awarded diplomas and certificates to the IB Class of 2009. The diplomas and certificates were awarded by the IB Organization in July 2009, based on each student's performance on the six IB examinations, internal assessments, extended essay, and Theory of Knowledge assessment, as well as completion of at least 150 Creativity Action Service hours. The Class of 2009 went well beyond the requirements, accumulating over 14,000 hours of Creativity Action Service and obtaining over $1.1 million in scholarship money. Additionally, the coveted York High Medallion was presented to Maeve Hoyt for achieving the highest scores on her IB examinations. Congratulations to the members of the Class of 2009.
