How Many York County Families Can a Family of Bulldogs Feed?

Posted On: Friday, December 20, 2013
Fourth grade students at Seaford Elementary School (SES) took the opportunity to combine their community outreach project with mathematics. Students graphed each grade level's contribution to the food bank. Then they calculated how many families could be fed and determined that 1,125 food items collected at SES would feed 65 families. Students delivered the donations to the York County Food Bank at St. Luke's Methodist Church.
