Fort Eustis Drill Sergeants and Color Guard at GBES

Members of the Fort Eustis Color Guard and the TRADOC Woodwind Quintet performed recently at the Grafton Bethel Elementary School (GBES) special Veteran’s Celebration. SFC David Stover II, SFC Ryan McCaffrey, SGT Christopher Kagawa and SPC Frankie Wright, also visited classrooms to share how their personal military experiences have involved more than fighting in wars, such as humanitarian assistance, with students. They also explained how their uniform ribbons and insignia are earned. Two of the visiting soldiers, SFC David Stover and SFC Ryan McCaffrey, have been designated the top two Drill Sergeants in the Army.
