VFW Essay Announces Contest Winners

Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 824 and the Ladies Auxiliary in Grafton presented cast awards and certificates to the winners of the "Patriots" Pen Essay Contest. The theme was "When is the Best Time to Honor our Military Heroes". The three winners, all Queens Lake Middle School students, are 3rd place - Alexis Ferebee, 2nd place - Sharon Anderson and 1st place - Josh Dolson.
