Yorktown Elementary School Gardens

Yorktown Elementary School students and staff designed and planted gardens around the school to enhance their science studies. Students learned how growing native plants help native Virginia animal species. Students have observed many insect species thrive in our gardens including the endangered Monarch Butterfly.
