TMS Eighth Grade Community Service Day

On Wednesday, June 12, 2013, Tabb Middle School eighth graders participated in Community Service Day. Students volunteered at a variety of locations including York County School Division elementary schools, the Poquoson Public Library, Bethel Park, Bayside Convalescent Home, the York County Sports Complex, York Convalescent Home and the Bargain Box.

While at their locations, students completed activities to give back to their community. Prior to Wednesday, students participated in a t-shirt design and essay writing contest about community service. Joel Frondelli created the winning t-shirt design and the essay contest winners included Lindsey Rivers (1st place), Danielle Nicholson (2nd place) and Caroline Lloyd (3rd place).
