MVES Students Learn about Chesapeake Bay Crabs

Mt. Vernon Elementary School first grade students demonstrate what happens to a Chesapeake Bay blue crab as it gets too small for its shell and starts to molt. Katherine Kelchner, marine science teacher from St. Mary Star of the Sea, gave a presentation on the life cycle of a crab.
