Parent/Student Driver Education Presentation - 2022-23Posted on: Tuesday, October 18, 2022Students enrolled in Driver Education in Virginia are now required to attend a 90-minute presentation to obtain their Driver Education Certificate of Completion (DEC-1) card. This is due to an updated code passed by the 2022 Virginia General Assembly requiring all approved public, private, and commercial driver training schools to add a 90-minute parent/student component to the classroom driver education curriculum. |

2023 National Merit Scholarship Program SemifinalistsPosted on: Monday, September 19, 2022We are pleased to announce that Alice Fang and Joshua Way have been named semifinalists in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program. These talented high school seniors are recognized among the best students in our nation. Alice and Joshua entered the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2021 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, which served as an initial screen of program entrants. The nationwide pool of semifinalists, representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, includes the highest-scoring entrants in each state. |
