York Foundation for Public Education, Inc. Awards Grants to York County Schools

The York Foundation for Public Educators, Inc. (YFPE) awarded a total of $5,800 to five York County Schools for the 2009 Fall School Wide Initiative Grants Program. The funds are awarded for the development and design of innovative strategies that help to reshape, enhance or improve education for all students within the school.


School Calendar Update

Due to the school closings because of the inclement weather, Jan. 29th, originally a Teacher/Student Holiday, will now become a teaching day. Additionally, first semester exams would begin on Tuesday, January 26th and end on January 29th. These exams were previously scheduled to begin on Monday, January 25th and end on Thursday, January 28th.
