Enhancing a Tradition of Excellence in York County Public Schools
The York Foundation for Public Education, Inc. provides an avenue for community-minded donors to direct their resources toward enhancing the quality of learning in York County Public Schools. As such, the Foundation has some very exciting news! We are launching a new travel website for all York County School District employees, parents and community-wide supporters.
Here are the details:
We have partnered with Donations Travel for the creation of our own world class travel website, powered by the booking engines of Travelocity. Donations Travel pays a portion of the travel commissions to organizations like ours. This new partnership enables YFPE to generate donations from each and every travel booking made through our customized travel site! The pricing, customer service, and booking arrangements are the same as any found on Travelocity!
In addition, Donations Travel has also created the ability for you to signup other good causes (church, civic groups, alumni associations, etc.) for this service through our website, and we will receive ongoing referral fees from travel activities conducted by members of these good causes as well.
Here is how it works:

We receive a donation for any travel arrangements (professional or personal) made through our site. Periodically we will be announcing 'Travel Deals' on this site and through emails. All travel booked from these travel activities will benefit the YFPE and the York County School District.
Additionally, we are encouraging you to signup your own good causes through our site! By simply completing the automatic website generation form on our web page, each of your members can signup one or more of your own good causes (your business, church, organization, alumni association, etc.). Their travel site is created automatically and you are sent an email to forward to the person(s) responsible for your organization's email list.
For every person who books travel at your organization's travel site, the York Foundation for Public Ed., Inc. will receive a referral fee. So, if YCSD employees, parents and business partners simply sign up one other organization to help with their own fundraising needs, our members will be helping out many good causes; while benefiting our organization financially in the process.
