FAQ's

What should I do when my child is sick? 
Call the attendance office (898-0520) to report the absence and send a note when he/she returns to school.

What should I do when I need to talk to a teacher?
 
Call the guidance office (898-0410), e-mail, or write a note in the agenda for the teacher.

When do the activity (after school) buses run?
 
The buses run on Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursday at 4 p.m,

When can I come to school?
 
You are always welcome at YMS.  Please arrange for classroom visits a day ahead.  We will treat you to lunch on any day you would like to have lunch with your child.  We encourage you to mark your calendars so you can participate in "Falcon Days."

How do I volunteer?
 
Contact the school (898-0360) or PTA.  We are always looking for field trip and dance chaperones.

What about over-the-counter medicine?
 
Please visit our clinic (898-0322) and complete the Parental Consent Form for Administration of Medication at School. Give this form and the medicine in the original container to the nurse.

How will I know what is going on in class or when special events are
planned?
