Oct 31	Cassette tape/CD/emailed wave file of Junior District scales/rudiments due to be considered for auditioning for Junior District Band (Intermediate & Concert Band students)
Dec 9	Winter Concert 6:30 Beginning Band 7:00 Intermediate Band 7:45 Advanced Band
Dec 17	students auditioning for Jr District Band - required after-school session
Jan 10	Junior District Band Auditions (selected students)
Feb 5 (6-8:30),  6 & 7	Junior District Band (only those making it)
Feb 27	Exchange concert with Poquoson MS Band - here (Advanced Band)
March 6 or 7	Band Festival (Advanced Band)
April 21	Occasion of the Arts (selected students 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm)
April 25	Solo and Ensemble Festival (all band students) here at YMS
April 28	Stage Band Festival (Stage Band - during school day)
June 2	Spring Concert (all band students) at YMS 6:30 Beginning Band 7:15 Intermediate Band 8:00 Advanced Band & Stage Band

* Concert Band is the Advanced Band class.

+ Beginning Band - Beginning 6th, 7th & 8th grade students

After-school sectionals will be held as needed.
