Ashley Ellis is originally from Alexandria, Virginia.  She graduated from The College of William and Mary in 2000 and started teaching at York High School that fall.  This is her eighth year teaching and has taught English 9 and 10, Advanced English 9 and 10, English 11, Creative Writing, and Yearbook.  She has sponsored the freshman class, the Key Club, and is currently the yearbook adviser and co-sponsor of the SCA.  In her free time, Mrs. Ellis enjoys horseback riding, jogging, reading, and taking long walks with her dog, Jake.
