George Wolf, TV Production / Video Specialist

Teaching is actually my “second career.”  I worked for years in television news…starting out as a TV news photographer.  My broadcasting career includes working in various TV markets as reporter, news anchor, producer, executive producer and news director.  I have won numerous awards for newscasts and an Emmy for an entertainment special. Noticing that many home videos could easily be improved with basic television techniques, I developed and taught a home video course for Virginia Beach Adult Education. That is when I discovered I liked teaching! Once I started teaching in York County, I returned to college to earn my Master’s Degree in Education. My wife Kaye is a Realtor at Long and Foster’s Great Neck office in Virginia Beach. Our eldest daughter is married and living in Richmond; my other daughter and her husband live in rural Virginia; my son lives in Virginia Beach.  With a good bass lake at my back door, I am able to do some fresh-water fishing to relax. We also like to take our pop-up camper on weekend trips. Much of my extra time I spend working around the house or spoiling my grandchildren.
