I am a displaced northerner who has come to love living in the south.  I was born in Connectiicut and earned my B.A. degree in History from the University of Vermont. I then went on to earn an MBA from Simmons College in Boston.  Learning about different peoples, cultures, civilizaztions has always been of interest to me.   This is my 16th year of teaching and  I will be teaching World History II and Psychology.

From 2004 -2005, I lived in Europe with my family.  We spent 6 months in Torino, Italy (home of the 2006 Winter Olympics)  and 6 months in Barcelona, Spain.  This gave me a wonderful opportunity to visit the many places that we discuss in World History. I love helping students to explore the past, to see how mankind has progressed over the ages, and to appreciate what helped us become who we are today.  I look forward to this journey each year.
