This is my first year at York High School.  I am originally from the Midwest and have Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Miami University of Ohio.  Prior to becoming a teacher I completed my military service and worked in higher education and business.  I have had the opportunity to live in 10 different states before coming to Virginia in 2001. This has provided me with a variety of Earth Science experiences that I hope to be able to share with my students.

When I am not teaching, I like to read and work around the house.  My wife and I make our home in Williamsburg and there are no plans to add any more states to the list of where we have lived.
