Doris G. Parson has taught business courses at  York County's four high schools.  She persently teaches at  York High School where she teaches Computer Information Systems I, Computer Information Systems II, Keyboarding I, Computer Applications, Financial Planning and Business Finance.  She is also a sponsor for the Future Business Leaders of America Club.  Mrs. Parson is also an Adjunct Faculty Member at Thomas Nelson Community College where she teaches business courses in the Dual Enrollment Program.  She received her  BS in Business Education from Norfolk State University, Norfolk, Virginia and a Master of Science Degree in Business Education from Virginia State University, Petersburg, Virginia. She worked several years at Virginia State University in Student Accounts.  After leaving Virginia State University, she pursued her own business for over twelve years before deciding to teach business courses to high school students.
