I am proud to have spent many years as a member of the YHS Falcon Staff.  I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Virginia State University in Business Education with a concentration in Computers and Accounting.  My Masters in Education degree was awarded by the College of William and Mary.

In addition to serving as Team Leader for the Career & Technical Education and Fine Arts Departments, I coordinate the Career Mentorship program and the Cooperative Office Education Program.  I am the head sponsor for our Future Business Leaders of America chapter and a member of the school’s Relay for Life team.  I also teach students who are enrolled in the York County Virtual High School.

 During the 2006-07 school year, I was selected by the school division in the Teacher As Leader program.  I hold membership in several professional organizations including the Virginia Business Education Association  where I serve as the Representative to the Thomas Nelson Region.

 I have a husband, daughter and two cats.  In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, cooking, traveling, and recently learned to swim!
