This may be my second year at York High School, but I have been a Spanish teacher for 15 years.  I have taught in Newport News, Gloucester and Madison County, Virginia.  I received my bachelors degree in Spanish from Roanoke College and I have spent the last 3 summers in Santiago de Compostela, Spain studying for a masters degree in Spanish.  I also like to take students on trips abroad.  I have chaperoned groups to Spain, England, France, and Mexico.  Hopefully, this will also be possible at York High.  I enjoy teaching and working with young people.  This year I will be the sponsor of  the Spanish club and I hope to make this a fun and exciting adventure for our students.  I look forward to my time at York High School and I hope to become more involved in activities as the years progress.
