Tim Knapp - Government & Sociology

I attended James Madison University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with a minor in Sociology.  A few years later I returned to college to obtain my teaching certificate from Christopher Newport University. Since, then I have taught World Geography, World History, US History and Government at Middlesex High School and York High School. Over the same time period I have coached basketball to boys and girls at the JV and Varsity levels. In education and in sports I believe that effort outside class and practice will determine who rises to the top. What students and athletes do when no one is looking will indicate how far they will go in life so I will push them as hard as I can to reach this level.
