Course Description:
Elective
Physical Education provides students with the opportunity to
participate in
physical activities for specific purposes.

Competencies: As a result
of this physical education class, students will be able to:

movement skills and strategies in selected recreation, leisure and

Each student is
responsible for securing personal
items in their locker and not revealing their combination to anyone.

All students
must wear T-shirts (no
sleeveless undershirts), shorts with and elastic band and athletic
shoes that
tie.
H.
Students must
be dressed
in appropriate attire when teacher is
administering
fitness
and skills tests.
7.
Attendance
Policy:
§
To comply with
Virginia State Law, students
are expected to attend school every day and to be on time unless there
is
illness or death in the immediate family.
§
A note daily
from a parent may excuse a
student from activity for up to three consecutive days of a week. The
student
may still be required to dress. Written
assignments may be assigned
§
For an illness
over 3 days, the student
must have a doctor’s note stating what the student can and can
not do.
