Evidently I like to be around war sites.  I am a graduate of Appomattox High School and teach at York High School. Also, I am a graduate of Longwood College, East Carolina University and Old Dominion University.

I have been teaching for 35 years and really enjoy watching students learn and grow.  My first six years were in Newport News, four at Warwick High School and two at Ferguson High School.  If was fate that brought me to York High and luck that has kept me here.

I have a wonderful husband, great son and a temperamental cat – life is good!
