Television Production is one of the most exciting
technology-oriented classes at York County Schools. Our two-year TV
Production Program allows York
County students from ALL
our high schools to participate in real television.
By working closely with York County
Video Services and sharing studio resources, our students are able to learn
about studio production using up-to-date cameras and equipment.
Second-year students use industry-standard post-production software as
well. As money becomes available, we hope to add to our educational
equipment so, eventually, all students will be able to practice and learn at
the same time.
Note:
Classes require a fee of $10.00 plus additional money to join the
student organization Skills USA.
Also, students must accept financial
responsibility for any equipment damaged or lost through unprofessional
behavior or negligence.
