Course Requirements:
Students will conform to traditional behavior
requirements and demonstrate self-motivation.
They will make use of
technology. Students must meet deadlines
and will work individually as well as in teams.
They may work on programs for
TV-47 and YCSD.
Students will show maturity and
professionalism in all video production work.

Attendance Policy: |
To comply with Virginia
State Law, students are expected to attend school every day and to be on
time. |
Evaluation: (A=92-100%, B=84-91%, C=75-83%,
D=67-74%, F=66% & below)
Homework 10%
Assignments 20-50% {Percentage may vary by quarter}
Tests/Quizzes 20-30% {Percentage may vary by quarter}
Workplace/Classroom 20-50% {Percentage may vary by quarter}
Projects & Crew 20-50% {Percentage may vary by quarter}
ALL
work must be turned in at stated “due date.”
Grades penalties will be given for work turned in late.
Late
non-video work grade penalty is 10%-per-day for each day past due
date.
Late
video work grade penalty is 20% for one day late, 40% for two days late,
50% for three days late, and a grade of zero if turned in more than 3 days past
deadline.

We have read and understand
the syllabus of TV-1 including the requirements, activities, grading and
general policies of the course. We also
understand we must pay ten-dollar ($10) activity fee in order to take this
course and that additional
fees and/or dues may be

VIDEO EQUIPMENT
RESPONSIBILITY FORM
My son/daughter or student for whom I am legally responsible, may use York County School Division video production equipment on and/or off-campus,. Such use will be for teacher-approved video assignments only.
Equipment used outside of the studio/classroom must be noted in writing by the teacher or video production assistant. They will inspect equipment before it leaves the studio and upon its return to ensure it is returned in the same condition as when it was checked out.
I agree to be
financially responsible for the repair/replacement of the equipment if damaged
while checked out by my son/daughter or student for whom I am legally
responsible.
