Mrs. Holman Cheers Everyone! My name is Dakota Holman. I was born and raised in New Rochelle, New York. There I attend G. Washington Elementary and Columbus Elementary School, Albert Leonard Jr. High and New Rochelle High School. From there I was blessed to attend Syracuse University were I received my first degree in Speech Communication/Personnel. While I was at Syracuse I meet my husband, Victor; and then began our journey with the United States Army. I then got the opportunity to further my education; and earned a second degree in Elementary Education at Columbia College in South Carolina. And finally, I received my Masters of Education from Old Dominion University. I have two beautiful children, a son and a daughter. During my free time I enjoy hand crafts: knitting, quilting, stamping and scrap booking. I love to travel, site see and going to the movies. My favorite children’s authors are too many to name. One of my favorite foods is the Oreo Cookie Blizzard with Strawberries from Dairy Queen and the Strawberry Cream Slush from Sonic.
Mr. Philipoom 1. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis is my favorite children’s book. 2. I was born in the old Riverside Hospital in Newport News, Virginia. 3. I received my undergraduate degree in political science from Christopher Newport College and my master’s degree in elementary education at Christopher Newport University. 4. My hobbies include gardening, chess, and music. 5. I have a seventeen year old kitten named Miss Rover. I like going hiking and camping in the mountains, playing chess or music, and reading. Mrs.
Brandy Robinson
Hello!
My name is Brandy Robinson and I am a third grade teacher at Yorktown.
I graduated with my undergraduate psychology degree from Christopher
Newport University and I also attended Old Dominion University and
earned a Master's in Elementary Education. I have a wonderful husband
named David, two cats (Maxwell & Oliver), and the newest member of
our family is our son, Evan David, who arrived on June 20, 2006. In my
free time I enjoy attending hockey games, reading, and spending time
with family and friends. My favorite food is cheesecake and my favorite
subject is science.
