Hello! I am a reading specialist and I work with second and third grade students. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Akron and my Masters in Reading Education from Old Dominion University. Prior to becoming a reading specialist, I was a classroom teacher. I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.

Jamie Colonna

I am a Reading Specialist and I work with First Graders. I have a Masters Degree in Reading and am specialized in Reading Recovery. I enjoy teaching and seeing that “AHAA Moment” when the little ones realize that they can read. As you might imagine, I love to read in my spare time (that would be mostly in the summer). I also like to work in my yard. I have twin children, a boy and a girl and a stepdaughter. I also have a dog named TYE. My husband and I enjoy traveling to the mountains and the beach.

Jonlyn Coles

I am an identical twin. As an undergraduate at UVA, I earned my Bachelor's in Sociology. I earned two Master's in Education (Early Childhood Education and Reading Education) from ODU. My main interest is spending quality time with my family, though I also love reading Patricia Cornwell's mystery novels.
