Welcome to the library media center!
The best thing you can do with your student to increase their success
in school is to read with them. Studies have shown that reading is the
building block for all academic success. Have them read a page and then
you read a page. Read chapter books that they can't read themselves
yet, but they can understand the story if you read it to them. This
helps them to picture the story in their minds and stretches their
imagination. ---Reading Sparks Imagination!!
 Shining Stars Come Out at Night
Come join us on Wednesday, October 16th at 7 p.m. in the
Library Media Center to read with your student and watch them take AR
tests. This is a good time to catch up on AR goals and ask any
questions about the AR program. I look forward to seeing parents
and students on Thursday evening!
