Homework |
| Written and/or oral homework is assigned each class as a reinforcement of the material presented in class. A review of homework is part of the daily lesson, and students are responsible for making corrections of their assignments. Homework quizzes will be given during or after each unit, so keep your assignments organized and labeled! Late homework will not be accepted!! |
Attendance and Make-up Work |
| Regular attendance in class is of utmost importance and is directly related to the student's success in class. All make-up work, written and oral, is the responsibility of the student. Students are required to have the phone number of at least two (2) "study buddies" to practice oral assignments and to stay current with the class when absent. Please use your TMS planner for assignments and phone numbers of your classmates. Students must make an appointment with the teacher to make up tests or oral work missed. Extra help is available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays when scheduled in advance by the student. |
Student Conduct |
| Students are required to follow all rules as stated in the TMS Student Planner. Please note carefully the dress code requirement. Gum, candy, food and drinks are not permitted in the classroom, and disciplinary action will be taken for not adhering to this rule. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a courteous and cooperative manner at all times. Also, students are expected to be on task at all times and to raise their hand before speaking. |
