Welcome to Tabb Middle School

Throughout my professional career in York County, I have heard many positive comments about the Tabb Middle School community. It is my honor to join this team of dedicated staff and parents.

After graduating from York County Schools, I attended Virginia Tech where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Education. I continued my education and also received a Master of Science in Education from Old Dominion University and Educational Specialist Degree from The George Washington University.

I recently completed my twenty-sixth year of service in the York County School Division. Positions during my tenure have included upper elementary classroom teacher, Math Instructional Specialist at the division level, high school summer school intern, Assistant Principal, and Principal. As a lifelong resident of York County, I am deeply committed to the community and the school division.  

My family is a very important part of my life. My husband is an engineer at NASA and we have four boys that keep us very busy. Our two oldest boys live in North Carolina and our two youngest boys will attend Tabb High School this upcoming school year. During my spare time, I enjoy traveling to the Outer Banks and reading on the beach.

During my first year at TMS, my goal is to get to know the school community while continuing with the instructional initiatives that make the school a strong educational institution. I look forward to working with you this school year!
