| When my child is sick…. Call the
school office at 898-0321 or 898-0320

email ngeary@ycsd.york.va.us to report the absence;
A note should be sent in the next day they attend school. To prearrange an extended absence . . . parents should write a note and have it turned into the attendance secretary or email srhew@ycsd.york.va.us for approval. |

What about over-the-counter medicine?. . . Please visit our clinic and give the nurse written permission and the medicine in the original container. |

When I need to talk to the teachers… Call the teacher's voicemail or send a note to school. |

When can I come to school? You're always welcome at TMS. Classroom visitations must be prearranged by the Principal. |

How do I volunteer? Contact the school or PTA or fill out the volunteer form in the main office. We're always looking for field trip and dance chaperones. |

How will I know what's going on in class or when special events are planned? . . .Check the Agenda and sign-up for the weekly Y-line message, Tiger Times. |
