Welcome to thebookworm Library

Hello From the Library!

Mrs. Gail Robinson, Librarian
Ms. Linda Kibler, Library Assistant

Welcome to the Tabb Elementary School Library, where books rule! Our Tabb Library is the information center of the school. Your child will be able to check out library books once a week during a scheduled library time. He/she may also return books and check out more any day of the week. Primary students listen to read-alouds, learn where the books are, and look for exciting books they can read independently. In 3rd grade, Accelerated Reader becomes an integral part of the library experience. Upper elementary students learn about the organization of the library, research strategies, and discover a variety of genres in literature.

Know Your Child’s Library Day

It is important to know your child’s library day so he/she can return  books and check out new ones. Classes whose students return all their books on library day get stickers or small rewards for remembering their books.
