When can I register my rising
kindergarten student?
Registration for the
2007-2008 school year begins May 1st. Your
child must be five years old on or before September
30, 2007
Should I wait until the first day of
school to register my child?
No,
you should register your child as soon as possible. Students will
be assigned to a kindergarten teacher early in August.

requirement?
No. There is not a waiver
of the age requirement.
Will the parents have an
opportunity to meet the kindergarten teachers and the principal?
The
kindergarten teachers
will meet with all parents in August.
Will
my rising kindergarten
student have an assessment before school begins?
Yes, all kindergarten
students will be assessed in
August. A letter will be sent to your
home with the date and time.
When will I know the name of the
teacher for my child?
You
will receive a letter inviting parents and rising kindergarten students
to
visit the assigned classrooms. The
students will also take a short bus ride around the school neighborhood.
