Boohoo / Yahoo Kindergarten Breakfast

Over 80 Kindergarten parents attended the Boo Hoo/Yahoo Breakfast on thefirst day of school.  It was a special event in honor of an important milestone in a child's life, THE First Day of Kindergarten!  Parents came to "boo-hoo" or "celebrate" with other parents, enjoy tasty treats, and learn  more about the "life of a Kindergartener" from Mrs. Tucker and Mrs.Rigo.  They also met the Principals and heard about volunteer opportunities for parents at TES.  Great door prizes, such as books and stuffed animals, Tabb Spiritwear, and a Leapster Game System, were awarded .















All prizes  were donated by some of our community  partners

Barnes and Noble. 

Every parent left with an adorable hand-stamped box containing tissues and chocolates. 

What a fun way to start off the year for our new parents!  Thank you to our volunteers Elizabeth Glass, Tracy Vest, Cyndi Norris, Shawnare Pierson, Kathy Wilson, and Lynn Lyon for making this event a huge success!
