Josie
Wilkins joined the Grafton
High
School team in 2004. Married to an Army soldier, she has
traveled
nationally and internationally. She first
graduated from
Austin Peay
State University with a BA in English in 1994.
After
continuing her studies at Baylor University
and completing graduate
studies in Mexico, she earned a Masters in Curriculum
and Leadership
with a Spanish specialization.
She was president
of the
Spanish
Honor Society during her graduate studies. She has taught
Spanish, English, and English as a Second Language, worked for Sylvan
Learning Center, and scored tests for ETS, Educational Testing Services.
She has three children, ages 7, 9, and 14.
As a volunteer, she helps regularly at the VFW, runs technology for the
children's program in her church, and teaches computer classes at the
library.
In addition to her interest in
foreign languages, Josie loves to read, attend theatrical events, and
play inline hockey.
