This is my second year teaching in York County School Division.  I am licensed to teach middle school science and mathematics and have an Algebra I endorsement.  I am a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and received my teaching license through the Virginia Community College System's Career Switcher program. 

I grew up in Western Pennsylvania where I attended elementary and secondary school.  After attending college at Penn State I served as an officer in the U.S. Navy which led me to Southeastern Virginia in 1996.  After nearly 7 years of service I started a second career in the corporate world.  During this time I decided to follow my dream of being a teacher and began my pursuit of a teaching license. 

I am a husband of 6 years and father to a one-year old daughter, Addison.  We also have a wonderful dog named Zoe.
