Physical Science Extra Credit
What: Complete extra credit
quizzes on-line (maximum of 6 quizzes).
Your score from the on-line quiz will be your score recorded in the
grade book so make sure you only send quizzes to me that you are satisfied with
you grade.
Where: education.jlab.org
When: Quizzes must be
received by
Procedure:
1)
Go to
education.jlab.org. Click on “Student Zone”. On bottom right die of the web
page, locate “On-line Games and Puzzles” and click on “ VA
SOL Practice Tests”.
2)
Answer 20 questions in the category “Science
8”.
3)
After selecting
“Science 8”, click on the button at the bottom labeled “More Options”. Make
sure “All Years” is checked, then click on “Next
Options Page, Please”.
4)
You will see six
options for strands listed. You may complete one quiz using all strands and one
quiz from each of the following strands: Scientific Investigations, Force
and Motion, Life Systems, Ecosystems, Earth and Space Systems.
5)
Click “Next
Options page”, then click “I’m Ready” to start your quiz.
6)
After you
complete the quiz, click on “All Done, How did I do?”.
This will take you to the Results page.
7)
View your
results, then type in your first and last name in the box. Hit “RELOAD”. All quizzes received without names will be
deleted.
8)
Click on the
“Email Results” button.
9)
Type in the
following address: smiller2@ycsd.york.va.us to
send your grades to me by 28 March. MAKE
SURE YOU INCLUDE THE “2” AFTER MY NAME.
