Disabilities

School Division therapists
and teachers will be displaying and demonstrating a variety of toys and
other items
for consideration as appropriate gift choices for children and youth
with disabilities. Parents and staff,
please plan to attend and
talk with other staff and families about your ideas and experiences.
 The functions
of the Special Education Advisory Committee are:
Ø
to
identify unmet needs for students with disabilities,
Ø
to
assist with plans designed to improve the performance of students with
disabilities,
Ø
to
assist with interpreting these plans to the community, and
Ø
to
submit an annual report to the school board through the division
superintendent.
Those attending
will have the opportunity to share
their thoughts with the committee. If you cannot attend a meeting and have
