News:
The Drama I classes are ready to perform their final play, "I Hate the Mall". Their performance dates were May 30 and 31, but due to the Middle School SOL testing, we will have to find a new audience! We may need to move the shows to the following week on Thursday and Friday (June 7 and 8).(Scheduling with two schools can be very tough!) They are ready whenever it happens! Encourage them to review lines and to remember to wear the correct clothes on performance day! As the end of the year approaches, I hope many of them will consider taking Drama II next year.
Drama II News:
Drama II is finishing their design work with Models of their creative set designs. They have one final assignment before their exam and that is a scene or monologue performed in class for a test and performance grade. Please remind your student to be prepared.
Drama III/IV News:
Drama III/IV is finishing up their playwriting unit and the unit on lighting. All have programed the light board--patching in a light or two and then creating cues and running them. They finished their test on that today. The rubrics for the final exam will be provided on Tuesday, May 29 and Wed. May 30.
