II Course
Description: Drama II will provide an in
depth look into the art of theatre through the practice of play
production,
analytical and physical character development, theatre design and
application,
and a look at the history of the development of dramatic literature. Upon
completion of the Drama I course you will be better able to: ·
Analyze
a
character through vocal, physical, and psychological characterization. ·
Analyze
a script
for elements of design such as costumes, lighting and sound. ·
Understand
the
history and development of dramatic literature. ·
Utilize
memorization strategies and blocking notation to improve character

Policy: To comply with the Virginia Law,
students are expected to
attend school
everyday and to be on time unless there is an illness or death in the
immediate
family. Tardiness will be dealt with in
