Sisters
Teresa F.

Sisters are most interesting creatures
Always concerned with facial features
Time flies as they commiserate
Over the selfishness of your chosen mate
Your feelings on the matter never matter
Give them a choice they'll pretend it's not the later
Suck in your wit and tell them it's their show
Guaranteed they'll pick a dress that you loath
They'll tell you flat out that your hair is not right
That your personality is a fright
Belief in self-expression is a bore
Smiling sweetly as they stab at your core
Then it strikes you with merciful hope
That they might get fed up and elope
