Dream
Hilary P.
And so, the light of the trees fades across
Spinning in flora's everlasting peace
Sighing as the wind soars over mountains and fog
Blows the sail of a ship through the
Treacherous sea
Fading lights, iron's bite
Watch as the green begins to fade
Twirl amongst them; frolic in the fields
Let the dreams of your mind mutate
Let them spontaneously erupt from
Subconscious realms
In your mind
Dancing, flying, twisting through the air
Falling, body contorting into the creations
Spewed from your fantasies
Mutilated by the dimension of imaginings
Which fill the resting hours of humanity
Writhe and tangle
Transforming now and again to fill the endless vortex
Of your thoughts, satisfying the needs of your tireless
Soul
Open your eyes once more to reality, awaken
From the depths of a quest in which only you can succeed
To be continued, when once again you Dream.
