Tempest Reaction

A scary storm strikes
Crack! Boom! Lightning flashes before their eyes
Suspenseful music plays
Each rumbling note adds to the terror

The melody changes
Calmer, and more serene
Miranda and Prospero chat and
The past is revealed

The melody changes
This time eerie and mystical
Ariel, the sea nymph is invisible
To everyone but Prospero

Two love birds meet
As Ariel plays soft notes
Ferdinand and Miranda fall into a deep
Love almost instantly

Ariel’s sweet music plays
Sebastian and Antonio lie awake
And plot to stab the others
A loud musical note saves the men from death

An evil monster is spotted
Under a long black cloak
Liquor and noise causes
Stefano to become confused

The men talk happily
Until Ariel’s mockery of the men
Causes them to fight
An evil plan is brewing

But their plan is useless
Ariel tricks them once again
In the end they are forgiven
And Prospero apologizes

The melody changes
As the story ends
