Welcome to Seaford Elementary School

The 2007-2008 school year is another exciting year at SES.  We will continue with our folk dancing, world drumming and recorder karate in our music classes.  In addition, the 4th and 5th grade chorus will be performing in our community and at our school.  The entire school will enjoy a sing-a-long together in December.  Our first grade students will be performing the musical “Candy Cane Lane” in December, and the Kindergarten students will be featured in the musical “Nuts!” at our Author’s and Artist’s Night performance in May. 

Thanks to the support of the PTA, Seaford was able to purchase new cds for three levels of our music program and new electronic textbooks too !  The updated music and technology will be a wonderful addition to our curriculum for many years.  The textbook company gave us many free supplements to the new program because we placed such a large order.  We were given multicultural songs in many languages, electronic animated listening maps for songs, movement DVDs to go with the songs, performance musicals, and the "BIG BOOK" to go with CDs that they hope we will purchase in the future.
