The transition from 2^nd to 3^rd grade can be difficult, but with these helpful tips, we hope that your child will have a successful start to a new school year: 

·        Have all materials and supplies the first day of school.  Please remember to buy only the supplies on the supply list.  Students do not have room to store any additional supplies. 

·        Please check and initial agendas each night.  This is a daily communication tool that you can use with your child’s teacher, as well as to be informed of what you child’s homework is each night. 

·        Keep in mind that even if your child does not have any written homework, there is usually some type of studying they should be doing to prepare for upcoming quizzes and tests.  As third graders, studying becomes a vital role in your child’s academic success!
